Have you ever felt like the odd best friend stuck between two other friends, who end up getting together as a couple? If you’ve pretended to be busy on your phone as your best friends play footsie under the table at a restaurant, you know what I’m taking about. But you needn’t feel sorry for yourself. Meet 29 year old Instagrammer Peter Alden, who tells the story of what it’s like to be the third wheel in pictures, and also has 84,000 followers online!

Peter is the one photobombing this pic as his brother Ben and his fiance Marissa Evans, who is also Peter’s best friend, lean in for a kiss.

Peter was living with his brother Ben when Marissa was dating him. So Peter spent a great deal of time with this best friend-brother couple and made it a point to photobomb any mushy picture they tried to click togehter.

After two years, Ben and Marissa moved in together and Peter had to move out. But that didn’t stop him from hanging out with them.

Today Ben and Marissa are engaged to be married soon and I wonder what Peter will do to keep his cute-creepy third wheeler act going. We surely don’t mind having him around, can’t say for Ben and Marissa.

By the way, photobombing couples is not what Peter does for a living. He works at a 3D interactive software start-up in New York and is currently single. Have you ever met a more adorable kebab mein haddi?
