Tahira Kashyap who turned a year older on 21 January is also a great inspiration to women who are battling cancer and coping with changes to their body.

In September, Ayushman announced that his wife is battling through DCIS ( Ductal carcinoma in situ) cancer. Tahira has since then kept sharing her picture, spreading awareness about breast cancer along with her own stories of how she copes day to day, encouraging patients of cancer to “be resilient and be strong, we shall overcome”.

After her final chemotherapy session, Tahira announced that she was choosing to go bald and ditch her extension calling them ‘incovenient’.

From Celebrities to Fans, she is an inspiration for all.

Her fan replied showering their love, sharing their own family stories with cancer and calling her a ‘’warrior’’, ‘’unique’’ and “inspiring’’ and ‘’beautiful”.

The Andhadhun Actor had also given fans his own dose of inspiration by sharing how he her fasted on Karvachauth for her and he even drew a mehendi tattoo with “T’’ for Tahira in Hindi.

Tahira has shown a great courage despite the trauma that comes with a life threatening disease. She is a true wonder woman who remained optimistic in this battle against cancer.
