‘Monopoly Cash is Complete’: People Troll the New Rs 200 Note

The Rs 200 banknote is upon us and an endless number of jokes and selfies are flooding social media. After the purple-coloured Rs 2,000 note became the butt of all jokes, people can’t get over the Rs 200 note’s bright yellow print.
The note among, other elements, has geometric patterns aligned with the overall colour scheme, both on the obverse and reverse.
Earlier this week, the Reserve Bank introduced a fluorescent blue Rs 50 banknote bearing the motif of the ancient Chariot-temple from Hampi, depicting India’s cultural heritage.
While the Rs 50 note was welcomed, the jokes on the ‘dosa-coloured’ Rs 200 banknotes are hilarious!
