Looks like the wedding season is in full swing! After Sonam Kapoor (well, it’s Sonam K Ahuja now) and Anand Ahuja, another couple is all set to tie the knot.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav is soon to marry senior RJD leader Chandrika Rai's daughter Aishwarya Rai on 12 May.

After the duo exchanged rings last month in Patna, the wedding has been the talk of the town. The couple celebrated their mehendi ceremony on 9 May and the function was hosted by the bride’s family.

Aishwarya, the bride-to-be, looked beautiful in a green saree, while Tej Pratap chose to wear a white kurta coupled with a Nehru jacket for mehendi.

Lalu Prasad’s wife Rabri Devi, younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, sister Misa Bharti and other family members were pictured having a gala time at the ceremony. However, Lalu Prasad missed the ceremony. He is currently serving a 14-year sentence, after being convicted in several fodder scams.

However, he will not give his son’s wedding day on 12 May a miss and will be out on parole for three days.
