Twitter mourns actor Hugh Dane’s AKA ‘Hank the security guard’s’ death.

Hugh Dane, the actor widely known for his portrayal as ‘Hank the security guard’ in The Office, died on 16 May, 2018 at the age of 75. His fans on Twitter mourned his death by calling him 'one of the funniest guys in comedy', 'the greatest security guard' and 'the best damn security guard ever'.

His former The Office co-stars Rainn Wilson and Steve Carell tweeted condolences:
