Rajasthan Education Min Explains Oxygen-Exhaling Cows and Science

Rajasthan Education Minister Vasudev Devnani has cleared the air.

How, you ask?

“The cow is the only animal that inhales and exhales oxygen.”

While speaking at the Hingonia Goshala during an event organised by the Akshay Patra Foundation on Saturday, the minister made the claims. He also mentioned that people need to understand its ‘scientific significance’.

Devnani also added that cold and cough can be healed if one goes near a cow and that cow dung has vitamin B that soaks up radioactivity.

We’ve heard and read enough in the recent past about cow conservation and how it is imperative that we save the ‘holy animal’. However, this time, they have been granted a superpower we didn’t know about.

Social media, to no one’s surprise, was unforgiving to say the least. Twitter was abuzz with flak, ready to call out the fallacious statement.
