Have you ever experienced or witnessed a random and unintentional act of kindness, showered on you by a total stranger? Or are you one of those who believe that no unknown person will ever come to lend a hand in your hour of need?
Some more users on question-and-answer site Quora have shared their experiences where a stranger has come to their rescue, and in other instances, where they have taken the effort to help out someone in need.
Evan Asano recollects how during his college years, when he couldn’t afford to get his car repaired, it used to break down often.
Amy Kline-Rodriguez, who went through an abusive relationship, revealed how once during an increasingly violent argument in public, a "thin, athletic-looking black woman" came to her rescue. Kline-Rodriguez wrote:
A heart warming experience was shared by Ruchika Nayyar, who had been recently discharged from hospital with her nine-week old baby. She stepped out of the hospital only to find a parking ticket on her car.
However, she also found a note wrapped up inside which said: “Hi there, I saw your car had a parking ticket on it. I'm sure whatever you're going through at hospital is tough enough, so I have paid for you. Receipt #, paid on Sunday 08/08/15 at 11:05 am. Hope things get better!!”
Well, such acts are bound to warm your heart, or if you have been the giver in such situations, the satisfaction can be definitely higher!
