Not just TV actors, even people associated with Bollywood expressed their shock over ‘Balika Vadhu’ actor Pratyusha Banerjee’s sudden demise. Ashvini Yardi, creator of Colors TV recalled Pratyusha’s audition for the TV soap which catapulted Pratyusha to fame.

Director-producer Karan Johar made a valid point about how depression is generally not considered to be a serious ailment.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who recently got awarded the Padma Bhushan also expressed his condolence.

Richa Chadda, known for her roles in Fukrey, Main aur Charles, etc tweeted about the vulnerability that life offers.

Pratyusha’s death even shook politician Nupur Sharma.

AAP spokesperson Kumar Vishwas too was affected by the sad development.
