Union Minister Nirmala Sitharmaman broke new ground today with The Quint. She has become the first union minister to appear on Facebook Live.

In a session lasting 40 minutes, the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry took questions from both our reporter Rishika Baruah and the audience.

Watch her talk about the Modi government’s two years in office, what the Prime Minister is as a boss, and criticisms the sarkar faced over economic policy and social intolerance.

(At The Quint, we are answerable only to our audience. Play an active role in shaping our journalism by becoming a member. Because the truth is worth it.)
