Indian society is full of strange rules and restrictions, and dare I say it, even bigotry, when it comes to marriage. Most of us haven’t moved forward when it comes to marrying someone from a different culture, caste, community or (shudder) religion. And love? That’s just pushing it.

Yes, arranged marriages still happen.

But if you think this happens only in India, think again. There are extremely ‘skin colour’ specific sites even in a forward thinking country like the United States.

One of the most controversial sites that has over 3,000 members on the internet right now, is believe it or not, www.wherewhitepeoplemeet.com.

Yup, where white people meet. Yup.

You read that right. Racist? Sounds like it, but the founder of this website says he is not racist at all.
