Cops Were Harassing a Couple, When This Man Showed Who’s Boss

The video shows a man questioning police as to how and why are they taking down phone numbers of people in parks.

In a video that has recently gone viral on social media, a man stands up to cops to stop them from harassing a young man and woman who were roaming around in a park during the day.

The man who introduces himself as a Delhi High Court lawyer can be seen asking the cops to tell him which rule says that police can take down the numbers of private citizens for just walking around in a park.

The 3-minute long video shows the moral policing that the police has unnecessarily tasked itself with. Young adults are harassed, treated as children and threatened with calls to their parents.

Moral policing has been on the rise and this is just another such incident. A fortnight ago, news emerged that two opposite sex students were expelled from their school in Kerala for sharing a brief hug. The school authorities tried to malign the character of the teens and tried coercing them into making false statements, but they stood their ground.
