“Hi, I am Malishka. Naam toh suna hoga.” Thus begins RJ Malishka Mendonsa’s 3-minute video where she breaks her silence on the pothole video debate.

Malishka asserts that radio is the voice of common people. Regarding the reasons for her #PotholeMix going viral, she says that the song touched people in a way that nothing had done before. She also thanks her supporters for raising their voices.

The video follows a long chain of responses in support of the RJ and critical of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) attitude towards the issue raised.
