Everybody’s favourite ‘Makeup Didi’ aka Mallika Dua charmed audiences at the Jaipur Literature Festival when she spoke to Suhel Seth about how she styles the “perpetually going-for-roka Delhi girl” whose hair gets more golden with each parlour visit.
The Snapchat sensation also said she’s ready to act in films – but “not as the heroine’s chubby friend but as the lead”. "I think I can hold a film on my shoulders,” Dua stated.
I’m very boring in real life, like <i>ghar jao</i>, <i>khana kaho</i>, <i>so jao</i>, which is why I have this crazy internet persona.
Reacting to the love she gets from people, she said:
People come up to me, call me <i>didi</i> and start laughing and I think that’s great!
