KFC Gives You an Opportunity to Charge Your Phone On-The-Go
KFC’s limited edition Meal Box with a built-in power bank allows users to charge their phones while eating.
What is the most important thing in your life right now apart from a smartphone? For many of us, it may be the understated powerbank, that keeps your phone juiced all day. And that’s precisely what KFC is offering to consumers, in the form of a 5-in-1 meal box that comes with a built-in powerbank.
The box comes with goodies and a built-in powerbank sized at 6100mAh promises to let you charge the phone, even while you’re eating.
The 5-in-1 Meal Box is part of KFC’s contest which is open to consumers in Mumbai and Delhi. In order to win this Meal Box, you need to order the 5-in-1 Meal Box online (priced at Rs 149) and hope that you’re lucky. If you are, you’ll get your hands on the limited edition Meal Box.
You also get a microUSB charger and a lightning connector to charge an iPhone (if you own one).
Without expecting too much from the product, we used the powerbank to charge our phone. As it turned out, the quality of the cables on offer aren’t great and the 6100mAh battery didn’t even end up working the whole time.
However, it’s great to see that companies like KFC are trying different ways to connect with consumers. Tata Motors had earlier offered VR headsets to people via a leading national newspaper.
