Apollo Hospitals said Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening.
The news came just hours after AIADMK said Jayalalithaa will return home "soon" as an AIIMS expert team had confirmed that she had completely recovered after over two months of hospitalisation.
The news of her cardiac arrest led to an outpouring of prayers and wishes on Twitter, hoping for her full recovery. There were also a few who expressed their confusion as to what was going on.
