For all those of you who loved La La Land and almost cried when it won Best Picture at the Oscars before the statuette was taken away within minutes, James Corden feels you.

Corden, who hosts The Late Late Show, has recreated Mia’s audition scene from La La Land, and shows the character ‘remembering’ what it felt like to be snubbed at the Oscars.

“My film used to be Best Picture. I remember it was Oscar night. Faye Dunaway said, ‘La La Land won.’ I remember our whole team jumped on the stage, leapt without looking. We gave speeches, until the PricewaterhouseCoopers (audit firm) guys came up and said, ‘Moonlight‘s the winner, ” Corden says in his spoof.
