If you’ve been on Twitter recently, you can’t have missed the Yutaro Katori meme where the anime character mistakes a butterfly for a pigeon.

“Is this a pigeon?”

The meme was first shared on Tumblr in 2011 and has risen to social media glory once again. The scene in the meme is from the 1990s Japanese television series The Brave Fighter of Sun Fighbird.

Creative netizens have reworked the meme to describe hilarious and relatable life situations. Here, check it out!
