Social media went berserk after a former employee of Snapchat claimed that its CEO Evan Spiegel had allegedly said that India and Spain are ‘too poor’ for the app.

But the controversy took a different turn as Indians started deleting the Snapdeal app instead of Snapchat. Here’s what the Snapdeal CEO and co-founder Kunal Bahl tweeted:
