Glitch in Instagram Stories, Horizontal Lines Appearing on Photos

Users are not happy and want it fixed immediately.

The glitch is causing funky lines to appear on Instagram stories.

Instagram stories are not just disappearing photos or videos. They have become a way of life for many. That’s why when horizontal lines started appearing in their stories, panicked users took to Twitter to ask if others were experiencing it too.

On Thursday, 6 December, gray or multi-coloured horizontal lines started appearing on some Instagram stories. In some cases, tagged locations and text on stories were also illegible and disarrayed.

As Usual, Users Took to Twitter to Complain

Apart from the horizontal lines, some other glitches seem to be surfacing.

Instagram, this morning, acknowledged the issue of horizontal lines appearing on people’s stories, and tweeted that they are “working to resolve it as quickly as possible.”
