External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj is known for the way she helps people in need, and for her prompt replies on Twitter. She had earlier helped a couple reunite on their honeymoon and now she has helped an AIIMS scholar get out of her visa problems.

Geeta Singh, a PhD scholar in AIIMS, was unable to get her Australian visa on time. She also mentioned that she needed it “urgently” in view of presenting a research paper in Australia on 7 December.

Despite being hospitalised, Sushma Swaraj did her best to make sure that Geeta got her visa on time. She asked Geeta to come and meet her at AIIMS to discuss it in detail.

And Geeta’s problem was solved within a day after she tweeted about it.

Geeta also showed her gratitude towards Ms Swaraj by tweeting about how she helped her.

Twitterati obviously applauded the External Minister for the dedication towards her work, as they usually do.
