Ever since they appeared on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and made some unsavoury remarks, cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have stayed in the news.

The duo reportedly made offensive comments about women on season 6 of the talk show, turning the appearance into a national spectacle with their careers now at stake.

Both of them have been suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and were called back from the ongoing ODI series against Australia. They have been banned indefinitely, pending an investigation.

In the latest development, the Committee of Administrators (CoA) requested the Supreme Court to appoint an ad hoc Ombudsman to conduct a deeper investigation into the matter.

The controversy has a lot of people divided over the punishment meted out to the players. The latest one to express displeasure over it is actress Swara Bhasker.

The actress on Friday took to Twitter in order to express her displeasure about CoA’s decision to involve the Supreme Court.

“I’m a staunch feminist.. but reallllllyyyyyyyyyyy???????? Like realllyyyy???? Being crass is not a crime!!! And aur koi kaam nahi hai kya hamaarey courts ke paas!!??

The actor mentions that even though she is a staunch feminist, she doesn’t consider being ‘crass’ a crime. She goes on to add that our courts have more substantial issues to deal with.

What do you think of the actor’s comment?
