Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has a rather odd complaint. "I have begun to fear now, because even the girls have started drinking beer. The tolerance limit is being crossed," said the chief minister of the coastal state that boasts the tag of being one of the world’s most sought-after tourist destinations.

His sexist remark drew severe flak, with Twitter user @TedhiLakeer sparking a nationwide trend when she asked women to share photos of them enjoying some beer, with the hashtag #GirlsWhoDrinkBeer.
