Celebrations are in order for Donald Trump as he turns 73!

He has reportedly spent millions of dollars on Facebook advertisements for his 2020 re-election campaign. And now, he’s spending even more money to remind everyone of his birthday.

Celebrations are taking place across the world, just a bit... differently.

The GOP (US’ Republican party to which Trump belongs) encouraged people to sign a birthday card for him, which will help analyse information about his current and potential supporters.

The advertisements for Trump’s birthday serve a key purpose for his re-election campaign: collecting contact information of potential new supporters as well as that of existing supporters, digital experts said.

Over a period of five weeks, Trump spent nearly half a million dollars advertising his birthday to his Facebook followers.

Trump can be sure to receive an, um, unconventional birthday wish from Trevor Noah on The Daily Show.

An advertisement were released on various social media platforms in the United States to convince people to sign the official birthday card for Trump.

The library curates the president’s Twitter history and takes a parodic dig at the very idea of Trump’s own Twitter library.

It has visual and interactive installations which give viewers an opportunity to celebrate some of the ‘unpresidented’ moments in Trump’s Twitter history.

The President not only received wishes from citizens of the US, but from people all over the world.

Twitter has decided to celebrate Barack Obama’s Birthday Instead

In the morning, ‘Happy birthday Mr President’ was trending on Twitter. Trump would be mighty disappointed to click on it and realise it’s actually about people wistfully rooting for Barack Obama.

Weirdly enough, many of the advertisements claim Trump will turn 72 and not 73. 

He also received birthday wishes from Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea and Andrzej Duda, the president of Poland.

Polish officials also sang ‘Happy Birthday’ for Donald Trump two days before his birthday.

Debra A Ell, the director of Michigan Trump Republicans, has organised a birthday celebration and flag rally on Friday, 14 June.

On the other hand, we have the Trump Earth Day Campaign.

A coalition of green campaigners are trying to have as many people as is possible to switch to renewable energy alternatives in the name of Trump’s birthday.

A happy birthday to the US president indeed!
