The much-awaited monsoon has finally arrived in the capital, and Delhiites anticipate a relief from the scorching heat as the temperature is expected to dip. The IMD says that it will be generally cloudy with light rain in Delhi till 8 July.

The forecast given by the weather department from 9 July is of heavy rainfall. While many celebrate the arrival of rains, complaints regarding water-logging and long traffic jams have also been lodged in different parts of the Delhi-NCR.
