Chris Gayle Names Newborn Daughter ‘Blush’, Or Does He?

Chris Gayle flew off to the Caribbean a few days back to join his partner for the birth of their first child.

Early on Thursday morning, the RCB player confirmed on his Instagram account that he’s just welcomed the newborn- a daughter he’s named ‘Blush’, or so his message indicates.

We would like to welcome the arrival of our beautiful daughter ‘Blush’ to this world 2 hours ago, Thank God. #GoodHealth&Strength - The greatest gift and feelings anyone would want. Great experience witnesses every bit of it. Have to give my blessings to Tasha, strong woman #Amen

‘Blush’ of course is no stranger of a word to Gayle after he was caught in the middle of a massive controversy earlier this year for his comments during a TV interview with Mel McLaughlin.

‘Don’t blush baby’ he had said, as the video clip snowballed into a controversy involving the Australian cricket board, even as many asked for him to be banned from playing in Australia.

Gayle himself though hasn’t let the issue go. Just a month back the above picture - with the caption- surfaced on his Instagram account.

‘Don’t Blush Baby’ it said. Even as he now seems to have taken it another step forward by naming his first baby, Blush.
