An NGO from Kerala, LetterFarms, has collaborated with a New York-based organisation called Handwritten to celebrate Dr Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam's 85th birth anniversary.

The beloved former president was born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.

On 15 October, the NGO will unveil a one-of-a-kind online exhibition. It will feature quotes by Kalam written on postcards by people from across India.

The exhibition kicks off on 15th October at www.handwrittenwork.com, and will continue through the end of the month.

The exhibition is titled 'The Spark of Resilience'. Using handwritten postcards, LetterFarms wants to champion the cause of relationship competency in the educational and professional development sector.

The interactive exhibition, LetterFarms says, will lead people through the journey of our inner dreams and aspirations through a collection of postcards. The postcards have been divided into four categories: Spark, Resilience, Decision, and Take -off.
