The Internet loves cats. All the more so when the cat happens to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But wait, Goose is not a cat, but a Flerken?

Captain Marvel released to a ‘marvelous’ box office opening collection of over Rs 12 crores on Day One in India, beating other superhero titles. A cool new origin story, starring Brie Larson isn’t entirely why it’s memes are spreading all over the Internet like a wildfire.
It seems Goose the Flerken (an alien species in the Marvel universe which quite clearly resembles a cat) completely overshadowed the superhero in the film.
