As a fan rightly pointed out, “only Queen can rock an entire stadium without even being there” – an audience of 65,000 singing the legendary British rock band’s iconic song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ on 1 July at London’s Hyde Park, while waiting for American punk-rock band Green Day to come on stage, is testimony to that.

The video has become very popular on social media since Green Day uploaded it on their YouTube channel on 3 July.

Since the time it was written by Queen frontman Freddie Mercury for their 1975 album ‘A Night at the Opera’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ has become an anthem for generations to come.

Green Day began its career in 1986, with its frontman Billie Joe Armstrong continuing to remain a sensation, especially among those born in the 90s. At their concert on 1 July at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, the band performed many of its hits like ‘Basket case’, ‘Holiday’, ‘Basket Case’, ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ and ‘Minority’, claimed a report by The Independent.
