Meghnad Saha, an astrophysicist, famous for his development of Saha ionization equation was the first scientist to relate the ionization state of an element to the temperature and pressure. His ionization equations have been foundational in the fields of astrophysics and astrochemistry.

Saha won many laurels in his life and also came inspiringly close to winning the Nobel on more than one occasions.

Sunny Nijar

Sunny Nijar is an Indian actor, model, martial artist and theatre artist. He is famous for his role in Pyaar ka Punchnama 2, Akaash Vani and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. His father Jai Singh Nijjar was was an award winning action director.

Subramanian Ramadorai

Subramanian Ramadorai is a former advisor to the Prime Minister of India in the national council on skill development. He is also the chairperson of the governing board of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Bharathidasan Institute of Management, chairman of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati and Tata Elxsi.

In 2004, Ramadorai won Business India's "Business Man of the Year" award. During 2003, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indore Management Association, the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a Fellowship of the Institute of Management Consultants of India, among other high profile awards.

Ioan Gruffud

Ioan Gruffud is an actor from Wales, who shot to fame with his roles in Titanic, Fantastic Four and Black Hawk Down. He was inducted into Gorsedd Beirdd Ynys Prydain (the Bardic Order of Great Britain), in 2003, at the highest rank of druid for his contribution to Welsh culture. At the moment he is playing the mail lead in a six part miniseries called Liar, airing in the UK and the US.
