Air India cabin crew member, Pooja Chinchankar, retired after 38 years of service. What made her retirement special was that her last flight as a crew member was flown by her daughter, Ashrrita Chinchankar.

Ashrrita took to Twitter to inform people about the surprise that she had planned for her mother. Her tweet warmed many hearts and, in no time, went viral on social media.

“Guys, tomorrow I will be flying with my mother on her retirement day, when she gracefully operates her last flight as an Air Hostess,” Ashrrita wrote on Twitter.

Pooja Chinchankar had a long association with Air India, as she joined way back in December 1980. Her daughter, Ashrrita, joined the airline in 2016.

Ten minutes before the fight landed, Ashrrita announced her mother’s retirement on the fight. At this moment, crew members and passengers cheered and celebrated her memorable journey. Ashrrita also tweeted a video of this moment, recorded by one of the crew members.
