While the world was occupied with momentous events like Brexit, terror attacks, Trump’s election and the demonetisation drama in 2016, the internet, meanwhile, was agog with the numerous glitzy celebrity weddings.

The penultimate wedding of the year that brought together celebs, politicians and sport stars was a mammoth five-day affair. This one brought back memories of Divyanka Tripathi’s wedding. Needless to say, it was one of the most talked-about and ‘watched’ weddings of the year.
Mr shy Sharma married his long-time girlfriend in Gurugram a few days back, wrapping up an year of glitzy, headline-grabbing celeb weddings.
May the new year bring more weddings and more cheer. But a little less wedding pictures on social media will be much appreciated, though.
