#TalkingStalking: ‘Name Them, Blame Them, Shame Them’

Bhatia’s poem gives voice to those who perhaps were too fearful or self-blaming to say #MeToo out loud.

When shouting till your voice goes hoarse doesn’t send the message across, one can only fall back on the written word, and pen down a revolt.

Our reader Prerna Bhatia has penned down the harrowing experience of sexual harassment that almost every woman goes through and the subsequent feelings of guilt and shame that patriarchal society instills.

In solidarity with the ongoing #MeToo campaign, Bhatiya’s poem asks women to stop blaming themselves, and instead blame the perpetrators. ‘Name Them, Blame Them, Shame Them’
