We’ve seen the glittering hearts against the stunning backdrop of Lake Pichola. We’ve also seen India’s biggest stars perform as back up dancers. We also witnessed Beyonce flown in on a chartered jet, and that’s when we really thought that we’d seen it all.

But, according to one of the guests, the personal touch by the family, eclipsed all the opulent spend.

According to the guest, each one had their own aarti tray that made guests feel like they were taking part in the wedding.

A Family Member Taking Care of You

A family member was put in charge of making sure that the guests in each hotel were looked after. The daughter-in-law to be, Shloka, was in charge of the young couple's friends.

The personal touch made the wedding feel warm and inclusive for everyone there, with the family always mingling with their guests, and rarely separated by a stage. And it looks like it was this that made a lasting impression.

Beyonce's performance is said to have cost the Ambanis a fortune. Though not a fan herself of doing private concerts, according to the guest, Beyonce gave it her all.

Once the show was done, the guest said that, she headed back home on her private jet, while her dance troupe stayed on.

The Couple’s Favourite Food

It was all about the the bride and groom's favourites with restaurants from around the world represented at each function, with even the ice cream selection being from among the couple's favourites!

The Father’s and Groom’s Speeches

The father of the bride shared that when he had asked his daughter Isha of her role model, her answer was Hillary Clinton. That is why, it was not surprising that the former First Lady of the United States was a special guest at the pre-wedding celebrations.

Anand Parimal in his speech said that his fiance Isha had sat him down and said that this pre-wedding bash was not about the two of them, it was about her parents thanking everyone. 

So, in true filmy style, it is all about loving your family and also your family’s friends.
