In a world where boyfriends can be rented, I took myself out shopping.
This is a world where Mumbai-based app RBF allows you to ‘Rent A Boyfriend’ to “cure depression”. For a price, I get to rent a “platonic” boyfriend. Not just boyfriends, cuddles can be added to my shopping basket with a little help from my knight in shining commodities- the internet. I can cuddle a stranger, let my guard down and indulge in a playful, platonic hug session.
Anyway, in such a world, I visited my local kiranewala for a few necessities and... lo and behold!

Now, it is important to remember that the above is an imaginary conversation completely but that does not negate the fact that this is a world where transactions are the new ‘cool’.
