These “janties” are giving us shivers!
From jorts (jean shorts) to joots (jean boots), when it comes to denim, we’ve seen some pretty wacky trends but maybe denim underwear is where we draw the line? Nu-uh, you simpletons!
Adding to the weird denim fad are denim...umm... ‘panties’! Project’s Navy Denim Panties, available via Ssense, are driving netizens crazy, as reported by Teen Vogue. They cannot decide what is more absurd, the fact that someone thought to make them or the fact that someone decided to price them at a whooping $315, which is 21,000 in Indian rupees, just fyi.
We have no clue who would pay that much for any underwear!
So, what makes them unique (despite the fact that they might just be the most uncomfortable underwear worn by mankind)? Well, they’ve got buttons! and...pockets too. Well, underwear with pockets could be a revelation!
However, I have a lot of questions. For starters, what exactly do we store down there? What event do we wear them too? Do we wear them inside or outside?
According to a report by Hindustan Times, netizens across are calling this piece of clothing as ‘janties. Like “panties” didn't sound cringe-y enough!
Twitter is, of course, ablaze with some pretty rad thoughts about the denim underwear!

Well, all said and done, we feel that these “janties” seem a bit lonely. They should've paired them with what only seems natural now, a “jebra” (jean bra, duh!).
