Omprakash Mishra singing ‘Bol Na Aunty Aau Kya’ shows just how sad the internet can get.

DISCLAIMER: The Quint has voluntarily taken down this video because of the unprecedented amount of harsh abuse it has generated. While we stand by the editorial assertions in our video, we do not wish to put our brave reporter to unnecessary harm at the hands of criminals.

NO means NO hota hai,

10 baar bataun kya?

Itne sexist songs likhta hai,

Harassment case karwaun kya?

Bol na Omprakash aau kya,

Vaat main lagau kya?

Hello Mr Omprakash,

How did you get here?

Tumhare ghar mein ma, behen nahin hain kya?

Would you like it if your ‘viral’ song was sung to them?

It is your GAME that should be BAJAOed after listening to your cringe-pop song!

Dekh ke javani teri jhatka meinu lagta hai, neeche wala dekh mera salute tenu karta hai.
Aunty Mai Aau Kya (lyrics)

You think it’s cool to stand and lip sync and move your hands wearing those chains? And that makes you a rapper?

I would ask YouTube to take down your video and Facebook to block you, because you’re the BEST example of what’s wrong with our generation.

Really, what are you doing here?

You and the millions of people who enjoyed this think it is uber cool to sing a derogatory song and ridicule 50 percent of the world’s population.

Now let’s have a moment’s silence to condole the crowds that gathered in CP shouting, ‘Bol na aunty aau kya, ghanti mai bajau kya’?

I mean, we the leaders of tomorrow, think it is cool/funny to normalise violence against women? Really?

If you haven’t heard the song, let me tell you how this ‘Omprakash - The Rap King’ threatens to rape.

Teri to ghanti bajana aauntie meine thani hai, night me ye dekh meinu sot lagani hai.
Aunty mai aau kya (lyrics)

It’s time to call out all those friends who abuse women for the same sexual behaviour as men, and the likes of Omprakash who made this video viral. What were the police doing when these people were verbally abusing women on the capital’s roads?

Na kahu to dekh tu lalachati hai, kehti tu ye khol dena chocobaar chusna hai, jawani ka sara maja dekh mujhe lutna hai, din me 10 baar dekh mujhko marwana.
Aunty mai aau kya (lyrics)

The more I go through the lyrics, the more I don’t get why it’s still up and running on YouTube? Comments are disabled for this video (naturally) and it has 28K likes and touches almost 3 million views.

The number of thumbs down, 52K, is the only thing that gives me some peace. So all the sane people out there reading this blog, this is a call to action.

Do you want such cringeworthy songs to define Indian GenY?

Do you want people like Omprakash to attract attention and openly abuse women?
