The Southwest monsoon has rolled into Delhi, and with it comes all the challenges that the city faces every year. Waterlogged roads, traffic jams and long commutes that feel like a lifetime.

Every year, the city promises to clean up the drains to prevent waterlogging. Sure, it is much better this year, but traffic is still a mess. Well, part of the reason for these jams is indiscipline among drivers. Most don't even pay attention to traffic signals, and with no traffic cops in sight during the rains, it's a free for all.

A normal 45-minute, 20-kilometre drive to work turns into a 90-minute adventure once the rains begin. Yet, the city looks beautiful in the rains. Watch this 90-second hyper-lapse video of a 90-minute commute to work – from South Delhi to Noida.
