Salman Khan attended the 15th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Narendra Modi made the inaugural address whilst some of the other speakers at the Summit are former US president Barack Obama and Afghanistan CEO Abdullah Abdullah.

While taking a dig at the media he said that whenever he speaks, he creates a lot of employment for people. In a conversation with the Editor-in-chief, Shekhar Gupta, Salman went on to say, “Media is leaving Bollywood behind in screaming. In Bollywood, one person screams, in media everyone is doing that.”

2. ‘Padmavati’ Based on a Poem, Not on History: Bhansali to Panel

‘Padmavati’ director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, on Thursday, 30 November, faced a barrage of questions from a parliamentary panel which asked him if the "selective" media screening of his film was aimed at influencing the Central Board of Film Certification, sources said.

Bhansali appeared before the parliamentary standing committee on information technology to share his views on the controversy surrounding the film. Bhansali assured the panel that Padmavati is based on Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s poem Padmavat and not on history, Times Now reported.

3. Rana Daggubati Pays Tribute to Rajesh Khanna in ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’

Disha Vakani famed for the character Dayaben, that she essays for the TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was blessed with a baby girl on the morning of 30 November.

In October, her on-screen son, Bhavya Gandhi playing the part of Tapu had posted a photo from the baby shower ceremony with the caption, "Glad to be a part of my "reel" mother's "real" baby shower ceremony."
