Kareena Kapoor today said she does not believe that nepotism existed and that if the practice was prevalent, every star child would have gone on to become a superstar in the film industry.

The actor cited Padmaavat star Ranveer Singh's example, saying the actor made it big in Bollywood on his own, without any familial ties.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's film Bajrangi Bhaijaan has amassed over Rs 150 crore in China since its release.

After two years since it opened in India, the film released in China on March 2 this year, becoming Salman's first ever movie to release in the market -- where Aamir Khan's entertainers are the biggest Bollywood attractions.

Take Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety for instance. Starring Sunny Singh, Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha, the lighthearted war-of-the-sexes film has raked in a whopping Rs 82.10 crore by week 3. It has beaten Akshay Kumar’s PadMan to become the second highest grosser of 2018 - right after Padmaavat.

5. ‘Black Panther’ Joins the Billion-Dollar Club at Global Box Office

Black Panther is roaring at the box office globally. The first superhero film with a predominantly black cast has raked in $1 billion on the 26th day of its release. The number, according to Sky News, is based on Disney’s ticket sales figures.

The film, starring Chadwick Boseman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Lupita Amondi Nyong'o and Martin Freeman among others, has been doing phenomenal business around the world. It beat Iron Man, Thor and Captain America in the UK and earned $22.7m on the first day of its release in China.
