Woah, PC Sparkled in 100 Carats of Diamonds at the Met Gala 2019
The actor’s outfit was inspired by Marie Antoinette.
Priyanka Chopra turned heads at the Met Gala 2019 in a stunning sheer Dior outfit accessorised with an intricate cape with feathered detail and a spiky crown. Both her and Nick Jonas’ looks were inspired by monarchs Marie Antoinette and Louis XIV.
While PC’s outfit was arresting by itself, she was also dripping head to toe in diamond jewellery by Chopard. According to Access, the actor was bedazzled with over 100 carats of jewellery, including 88.82-carats of pink sapphire briolettes, 3.80-carats of diamond briolettes, 0.38-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold from the luxury design house’s Copacabana Collection.
She also wore three pendant necklaces from the Happy Diamonds Collection – one with 9.01-carats of round brilliant-cut diamonds and 0.15-carats of floating diamonds, another with 7.14-carats of diamonds and 0.28-carats of floating diamonds and a third featuring 5.74-carats of diamonds and 0.44-carats of floating diamonds – all set in 18k white gold.
The stacks of bracelets adoring her wrists were from the Haute Joaillerie Collection. They included one with 16.45-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold, another titanium number with 9.77-carats of diamonds, a bracelet featuring 72.92-carats of multicoloured spinels, 20.77-carats of diamond beads and 4.51-carats of round-shaped diamonds set in 18k white gold and a bracelet featuring 21.70-carats of square emerald-cut diamonds set in platinum.
