Priyanka Chopra’s outfits at the Met Gala over the years have been the food for memes on social media platforms. This year was no different. Her dramatic silver gown with feathered embellishments, a sheer corset and a silver crown which she paired with over-the-top make-up with frosted brows and lashes and raspberry eyeshadow gave Twitter a chance to compare her to the Mad Hatter.
There’s something else that’s special about this event when it comes to Priyanka and Nick. It was at Met Gala that the duo first met and from there started their fairytale romance. Asked about the first time they met at the Met Gala, Priyanka said “We were more open then.”

Nick also pitched in about their first meeting around the 2017 Met Gala. “We met around the Met Gala 2017, but the event was the first time we walked together on the red carpet.”
The couple was also asked about the inspiration behind their looks. Nick replied, “The whole idea about this year’s theme, The Camp, was that you can do whatever you want and not take yourself too seriously. We love spending time together, and looking this outrageous together is perfect!”
Priyanka Chopra also said that she always finds a way to create an amalgamation of the East and the West, and this year it is her bindi. The couple also wished each other Happy Anniversary on the red carpet, and we definitely cannot keep calm.
