Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Isha Ambani were at the top of their fashion game at the Met Gala 2019 in New York on 6 May.

The annual benefit event for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met), is known for its extravagant outfits and exclusive guest list. This year’s theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion, inspired by photographer Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay ‘Notes on Camp’.

Priyanka slayed in a sheer metallic gown with feathered trim, custom-made by Dior, while Nick Jonas accompanied her in a white suit by Dior Men.

Incidentally, the couple met for the first time at the Met Gala back in 2017 where they both rocked Ralph Lauren. Priyanka and Nick are also part of the benefit committee this year, along with along with Hollywood celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, Bradley Cooper, Katy Perry and Lena Waithe.

Deepika arrived in a pink lurex jacquard gown by Zac Posen with 3D-printed embellishments.

YouTube star Lilly Singh, aka ||Superwoman|| made a stylish entrance in a dress that seemed to be literally inspired by a flower and accessorised it with long black gloves.

Isha Ambani also made an appearance dressed in a floaty lavender couture gown by Prabal Gurung with hand-embroidered feathers and beadwork.

Philanthropist Natasha Poonawalla also attended the event in a blue Peter Dundas gown embellished with crystals.
