Shah Rukh Khan may be busy shooting for Zero, but isn’t so busy that he can’t take some time out for his co-star’s birthday. While SRK and Anushka Sharma were on set with director Aanand L Rai, they celebrated R Madhavan’s birthday in style. R Madhavan plays a special role in Zero, details of which are yet to be announced. The team is currently shooting in Alabama.

2. ‘Sanju’ Marks the First Collab of Rajkumar Hirani and AR Rahman

Ranbir Kapoor in and as Sanju. 

Sanju based on the controversial life of actor Sanjay Dutt has been generating an almost unparalleled buzz in recent eyes. Be it the poster release spree or the behind-the-scenes news, all eyes are on Sanju.

While the majority of the album has been composed by Rohan-Rohan and Vikram Montrose, Rahman has composed two tracks for the film. Rajkumar Hirani disclosed that Vidhu Vinod Chopra's dissatisfaction with one of the songs in the album led them to approach the Oscar-winning composer.

“Since the song had already been shot, it wouldn’t have been possible to record another number and re-shoot it. So, we needed someone to create a new song keeping in mind these visuals. Considering it required tremendous expertise, Vinod suggested Rahman’s name.”

3. Ranveer Singh’s Grandmother Passes Away, Press Meet Cancelled

Ranveer Singh has postponed his immediate commitments.

Actor Ranveer Singh has postponed his immediate commitments after his grandmother passed away. The Padmaavat actor was to attend a press conference for Switzerland tourism at Mumbai's Taj Lands End on Monday at noon, but the event has now been cancelled.

It was earlier reported that Ranveer’s grandmother had been unwell for a long time and Deepika Padukone had even gone and visited her at the hospital in January. Ranveer has said that he’s very close to his grandmother, even comparing her to oxygen and water in an interview.

In an exclusive to Grazia, the actor had mentioned his grandmother’s importance.

4. Ananya Pandey Unhurt in Accident on ‘Student of the Year 2’ Sets

Ananya Pandey too is debuting with SOTY2.

Ananya Pandey, who makes her debut in the Student of the Year 2, the sequel to Karan Johar’s 2012 film drove a car for one of the scenes during the filming.

She reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a tree. Pandey fortunately survived the accident, unhurt.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film stars Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. The first instalment by Kjo launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidhartha Malhotra.

The shoot of the sequel is currently underway in the shoot in Dehradun and Mussoorie.

Actor Jennifer Aniston is to be her friend and actress Courteney Coxs maid of honour.
Aniston is helping her Friends co-star organise her nuptials to Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid, reports mirror.co.uk. Cox will get married to McDaid in Derry, Northern Ireland, this year.

A source said: “Courteney and Jennifer are thick as thieves and they have got even closer in recent months. Courteney wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle without Jennifer by her side. They have a very strong friendship.”
