At the song launch of Ae Watan, a song from Raazi, Alia Bhatt was asked her opinion about the gruesome gang rape of an 8-year old girl in Kathua. The actor feels strongly about the incident and asked the public to condemn it.

Alia Bhatt put herself through vigorous training for Raazi. In the film’s trailer, the actor can be seen on combat mode and using the Morse code.
Alia even commented on working with her mother, actor Soni Razdan, in the film.
Vicky Kaushal, who plays a Pakistani military officer in the film, commented about Meghna Gulzar’s unconventional direction.
Due to the controversial nature of the film, it is yet to be determined if the film will be released in Pakistan or not. Meghna Gulzar commented:
