On Monday, the cast of ‘83 was spotted at the Mumbai airport as hey were heading to London, England for the first schedule of the film. The entire team seemed to be wearing the same uniform as the one in the photos shared by Ranveer.

Ranveer Singh, through his Instagram, has made us privy to his ongoing prep of upcoming sports drama film ‘83. After regularly sharing photos of his training sessions with legendary cricketers Kapil Dev and Mohinder Singh, the Gully Boy actor shared a photo of the entire cricket team of ‘83.

In one of the most sophisticated and elegant photos of all time, the entire cricket team of ‘83 is dressed in black suits with matching blue ties. Ranveer has approriately captioned the photo “Kapil’s Devils”, followed by a cricket bat emoji.

Ranveer also shared a solo photo of himself with the caption, “About to embark on a remarkable cinematic journey 🏏 #proud #blessed 🙏🏽 @kabirkhankk @83thefilm”

83 follows the story of former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, under whose captainship the Indian cricket team won the World Cup in 1983. The film is being directed by Kabir Khan and it stars Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Pankaj Tripathi as India’s manager on the tour, Man Singh, and Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma. Other actors who will be playing the role of various cricketers include Addinath M Kothare, Chirag Patil, Harrdy sandhu, Ammy Virk, Sahil Khattar, Dhairya Karwa, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, and R Badree. The film is expected to release on 10 April, 2020.

Ranveer Singh recently also announced that he will be in Yash Raj Films’ next production titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar. In the film, Ranveer will essay the role of a Gujarati. Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be helmed by debutant writer-director Divyang Thakkar. A comedy film, the story will be set in Gujarat and is expected to go on floors in October. It will be produced by YRF’s Maneesh Sharma, who also directed Ranveer’s first film Band Baaja Baaraat.
