Even as Raazi hits the screens today, the trailer of Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is out with a solid dose of patriotism. The much-delayed film, starring John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani, is inspired by the true events that went on to make India a nuclear power.

Parmanu, directed by Abhishek Sharma, revolves around the nuclear explosions conducted by the Indian army at Pokhran in 1998. Incidentally, today is the 20th anniversary of the event. As expected, in the film, John Abraham is the patriotic officer leading the show, keen on gaining one over the neighbouring “enemy” country. And “desh” is the mantra here.

The actor, who has also produced the film, shared the trailer.
