Ariana Grande Releases Surprise Single

Singer Ariana Grande has dropped a surprise song ‘Thank U, Next’, in which she has addressed her personal life, including her exes Mac Miller, who died of apparent drug overdose, and Pete Davidson.

Grande's personal life has been in the headlines for most of 2018: her break-up with long-time boyfriend Mac Miller and whirlwind engagement to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson just weeks later, and Miller's death from an apparent drug overdose and her subsequent split with Davidson a couple of months after that.

All of the above, along with previous boyfriends Big Sean and Ricky Alvarez, are addressed in the new song, which she dropped abruptly on Saturday night, half hour before a new episode of "Saturday Night Live". The song sums up that she is good with all of her exes, reported Variety.com.

It Is True That I Called up SRK: Aamir Khan on Recommending Rakesh Sharma Biopic

While one of the superstars of Bollywood Salman Khan suggested another superstar Shah Rukh Khan to hear the script of the upcoming film 'Zero', it is no secret that Aamir Khan suggested Shah Rukh's name to Rakesh Sharma's biopic that finally Shah Rukh will start shooting for next year.

According to Aamir, such exchanges happen because he does not feel competitive with any of his contemporaries.

"I am not a competitive person and I never felt competitive with Salman and Shah Rukh," Aamir told the media in an interview.

He also shared how he suggested Shah Rukh's name for the Rakesh Sharma biopic because he genuinely felt that he is the best fit for the film.

"Yes, I heard the script (of Rakesh Sharma biopic) and I loved it really! It is true that I called up Shah Rukh and said that he should listen to the story. I am glad that he also loved it and finally said yes."

Anupam Kher Conferred Title by Boston Business School

Veteran actor Anupam Kher was conferred a Distinguished Fellow title at the Cambridge MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston.

"Thank you IndiaGlobal at Cambridge MIT Sloan School... This honour gives me a further sense of responsibility towards my country. A lower middle class Kashmiri boy from Shimla has come a long way," Anupam tweeted.

Kher was one of the key speakers at the day-long India Global Summit at MIT Sloan School of Management that offered attendees an opportunity to learn about India's emerging influence in the global economy.

Investment Has Doubled: Rajinikanth on Whopping ‘2.0’ Budget

At the launch of the trailer for Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, Rajinikanth got candid about the film’s huge budget. A report by Firstpost quoted him as saying, "Subaskaran of [production house] Lyca told me that he would invest the entire amount collected by Endhiran (Rajinikanth's all-time grosser) for 2.0. So, we started the project with a budget of around Rs 250 - 300 crore. Now, the investment has doubled." This takes the budget of the film to about Rs 600 crores.

During his speech, the actor also recalled how he almost dropped out of the film due to health issues.

Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films to Collaborate With Fox Star Studios

Akshay Kumar has signed a three-film deal with Fox Star Studios in partnership with his own production house Cape of Good Films. The first of these will be Mission Mangal, slated to be directed by Jagan Shakti and co-produced by Padman director R Balki. Shooting will begin this November.

Priyanka Chopra Production 'Pahuna' Gets Official Release Date

Priyanka Chopra's maiden Sikkimese production Pahuna - The Little Visitors will hit theatres on 7 December.

The film is the story of three children bonding together and making a new home for themselves after being separated from their parents while fleeing Nepal during an unrest.

It has been produced by Priyanka and her mother Madhu Chopra under their Purple Pebble Pictures banner, co-produced by Children's Film Society, India (CFSI), and directed by Paakhi A Tyrewala.
