Ayushmann-Starrer ‘Badhaai Ho’ Gets Second Installment

One of of 2018’s unexpected hits, Badhaai Ho, is all set to get a second installment. Badhaai Ho stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta. Now, the second installment will reportedly be titled Badhaai Ho 2. As far as the plot is concerned, not much has been revealed. Even though the script has successfully been finalised. Although, the filmmakers have guaranteed that Badhaai Ho 2 will be a lighthearted entertainer just like Badhaai Ho.

Casting for the film is still underway.

Shweta Tiwari Files Complaint Against Husband Abhinav Kohli

Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Shweta Tiwari’s husband Abhinav Kohli has been accused of domestic violence. Shweta Tiwari had reached out to the police after Abhinav Kohli slapped their daughter Palak in a fit of anger, reported entertainment website Spotboye.

Shweta Tiwari was reportedly seen at the local police station with her mother. She was in tears. Her daughter Palak was also with her. While registering the complaint, Shweta informed the police that Abhinav is often under the influence of alcohol.

We all are fans of Alia Bhatt’s singing prowess and her melodious voice, as she crooned in Udta Punjab with Diljit Dosanjh, for Ikk Kudi. The multi talented actor has added yet another feather to her cap, as she is all set to feature in her first ever music video.

For the same, she has collaborated with the music group, The Doorbeen, of Lamberghini fame. Recently she had released a poster of the song, which is titled Prada, announcing her collaboration with the group. “My first music video. Coming soon!” she captioned the post.

Meet Ayushmann’s Feminine Side in ‘Dream Girl’ Trailer

The trailer for upcoming Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Dream Girl just dropped, and it seems like there is no stopping for the National Award winning actor as once again, he is seen leaving the audience in splits.

The trailer shows Ayushmann Khurrana, Annu Kapoor and Nushrat Barucha dealing with a hatke topic. The actor is seen working in a call center, and talking to men as a woman named Puja.

Tabu, Ishaan Join Mira Nair's 'a Suitable Boy'

Actors Tabu, Ishaan Khatter and newcomer Tanya Maniktala will be seen in filmmaker Mira Nairs screen adaptation of Vikram Seth classic A Suitable Boy.

Adapted by Andrew Davies and directed by Mira and produced by Lookout Point, A Suitable Boy will shortly begin filming in India. The cast of the six-part BBC One drama is led by Ishaan, Tabu alongside Tanya in the central role of Lata.

A Suitable Boy tells the story of spirited university student Lata in 1951 at the same time as the country is carving out its own identity as an independent nation and is about to go to the polls for its first democratic general election.

It is a tale charting the fortunes of four large families and exploring India and its rich and varied culture at a crucial point in its history.

Ishaan will be seen as Maan who is determined to enjoy life to the full whatever the consequences, much to the concern of his politician father. He is infatuated with courtesan Saaeda Bai (Tabu).

The six part series, which will be distributed by BBC Studios, is filming at a number of locations across India including Lucknow and Maheshwar.

Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' Rolls as Actor's Career Turns 60

Monday marked the completion of Kamal Haasan's 60 years in the film industry, and the actor-filmmaker's latest project, Indian 2, went on the floors on the day.

Announcing the start of the film, actress Rakul Preet Singh posted a boomerang video on her Instagram page. In the video, Rakul is seen getting ready for shoot in the makeup room, dialogue sheet in hand.

Indian 2 begins, she captioned the video.

The ambitious project marks the reunion of Kamal and filmmaker Shankar after two decades, and also features Rakul, along with Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Priya Bhavani Shankar in crucial roles.

In the film, Siddharth is reportedly playing Kamal Haasan's grandson, and is paired opposite Siddharth.

Indian 2 will mark the return of Kamal Haasan as ruthless vigilante Senapathy, a character that became popular on the release of the first film in 1996.

Sanjay Mishra, Ram Kapoor to Feature in Comedy 'Bahut Hua Sammaan'

Actors Sanjay Mishra and Ram Kapoor are set to star in con comedy Bahut Hua Samman. Produced by Yoodlee Films, the Varanasi-set movie revolves around the lives of two young engineering students known for their quick con jobs in their college circuit. Popular dancer-turned-actor Raghav Juyal and debutant Abhishek Chauhan star as two college students. Nidhi Singh, Namit Das and Flora Saini also feature in key roles. Written by Avinash Singh and Vijay Narayan Verma, the film is directed by Ashish Shukla.
