‘Sanu Kehndi’: Watch Akshay in First Song From ‘Kesari’

The makers of the upcoming period war drama Kesari have released the first song from the film. The track titled ‘Sanu Kehndi’, is a understated Punjabi romp. The video shows star Akshay Kumar and the soldiers of the Sikh regiment bonding over song and dance in their fort. Take a look.

Earlier producer of the film Karan Johar released the teaser of the song on Twitter.

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra star in the true story of courage, bravery and valour. Akshay plays Havildar Ishar Singh who lead a batallion of Sikh soldiers from the Briish Indian army in the Battle of Saragarhi.

The period drama is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against a troop of 10,000 Afghan invaders. It has been directed by Anurag Singh and jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Azure Entertainment.

The film releases on 21 March. The first trailer will come out on 21 February.
