Akshay Shares Three Fiery Teasers from Upcoming Drama ‘Kesari’

Akshay Kumar has been unveiling teasers from his upcoming period drama Kesari, which also stars Parineeti Chopra. The latest teaser is a bird’s eye view of an epic battle scene, with Akshay Kumar on the front-lines. Take a look:
The second one is a chilling clip of a man who emerges engulfed in flames raising his arm in defiance.
He had earlier shared another short teaser video on Twitter, saying, “ It’s an UNBELIEVABLE TRUE STORY. Presenting the first one from the #GlimpsesOfKesari.”
Akshay and producer Karan Johar had also tweeted a picture depicting a Sikh man with his sword drawn facing a large gathering of men. “Unraveling the pages of history to the bravest battle ever fought. #GlimpsesOfKesari from tomorrow, are you ready? #Kesari,” he wrote.
Akshay tweeted another posted on Tuesday, writing, “Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari, jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi Kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari.”
Last December, Parineeti shared a picture from the film sets.
The period drama is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against a troop of 10,000 Afghan invaders. It has been directed by Anurag Singh and jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Azure Entertainment.
The film releases on 21 March. The first trailer will come out on 21 February.
